INCENTIVE: To be free of the Tah Ro games would be a primary incentive for Aric. After countless rounds, he is exhausted of immortality and endless killing. More than anything he would like to live out a normal life. To live, age and die without the weight of the games is something that would be appealing to him.
FIT: Aric has not had very much human contact for centuries. He craves to leave death and destruction behind and longs for the intimacies that he's nearly forgotten, simply touching another person. It will be difficult for him to adjust to being able to touch others again as he has spent 2000 years avoiding it whenever possible after the original manifestation of his powers took his parents accidentally. However, he is nothing but adaptive and will certainly learn to adjust to his new situation.
CONSENT: Despite the fact that during canon, the rules of the Tah Ro games often forced Aric to violate consent -- it is his life or others -- he not only has a deep understanding and respect for the principles that Eudio is founded on but anticipates living by them.

During the Tah Ro games, betrayal of alliances was often commonplace. As the Death card in the games, he has killed the other Arcana countless times including his allies -- though, they he remained loyal to until the last. He has long since been exhausted with the killing and choosing not to kill and being given an opportunity to escape it will be a welcome relief to him. During Poison Princess, he used controlled telepathy to taunt the Empress card with her impending death at his hands but he would also find respite in not using this power. He also does not have telepathy with non Arcana cards and without the assistance of the Fool.

Anticipating the full suppression of his Touch of Death, he will struggle with the knowledge of being able to touch other's again without killing them unintentionally. If possible, he would like to bring his horse, Thanatos.
